Payment & Pricing Policies

LONESTAR PAYMENT TERMS 

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express credit cards, otherwise all orders will be sent COD, cash or cashiers check until company checks have been approved. A $35.00 NSF fee will be charged for all returned checks. If we get a check back then you will be put on credit card payment. We do not open accounts on net 30 day terms. COD orders will be charged a COD fee based on what the freight company charges.

LONESTAR CORES AND CORE BANK

Cores have become a real problem in the last few years. Everyone thinks that a few cores that are owed to Lonestar is no big deal, but just imagine if all of my customers had four cores each that they did not ship in, this adds up real quick. After lots of thought and many discussions we are going to enforce all customers to the following core policy. Cores must either be in your core bank or they must be sent in before an order can be shipped or a core charge will be charged and there will be no exceptions to this rule. Core charges will be refunded upon receipt of rebuildable cores to Lonestar. Lonestar reserves the right to determine if a core is rebuildable. Customer is responsible for the freight on cores to Lonestar. Lonestar can keep a running core bank for your convenience. Cores can be brought to all of the shows that Lonestar attends and we will bring them back and put them in your core bank at no charge to you. Even if you do not order anything you can bring your cores to us. This saves you freight and will keep core charges from running up your bill. Sorry for the inconvenience this will cause some of you but this will help Lonestar keep their prices down by not constantly paying out money to
buy cores to keep up with demand.

LONESTAR DROP SHIPS

LONESTAR WILL BE HAPPY TO DROP SHIP YOUR ORDER FOR YOU. LONESTAR WILL PUT YOUR RETURN ADDRESS ON THE UPS/FEDEX LABEL AND THE CUSTOMER WILL THINK IT IS COMING STRAIGHT FROM YOUR OFFICE. THERE
ARE ONLY A COUPLE REQUIREMENTS FOR LONESTAR TO DO YOUR DROP SHIPS. YOU MUST HAVE A VALID CREDIT CARD ON FILE THAT WILL BE CHARGED AT THE TIME OF SHIPMENT. EVEN IF WE HAVE DONE THEM FOR YOU IN THE PAST WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY CAUSE BUT THIS IS THE WAY ALL FUTURE DROP SHIPS WILL BE HANDLED.

All drop ship orders must be faxed or emailed in with customers complete address and product information that is to be drop shipped. This eliminates the possibility of screw ups, wrong addresses, zip codes, etc. Any charges to Lonestar by shipping companies for
incorrect address information will be charged back to the customer placing the drop ship order.

LONESTAR SHIPPING AND FREIGHT CHARGES

Orders are shipped FedEx or UPS unless otherwise specified. If you would like us to use your UPS or FedEx account number for freight please fax in a letter requesting this with all of your company information & shipper number. Large shipments will be handled by trucking companies. If you have a certain trucking company that you would like us to use please let us know. Freight will no longer be paid by Lonestar on any of its products. Call your sales rep for full details. Lonestar will only pay freight on outbound warranties after inspection determining that it is a Lonestar Caliper Co warranty. Lonestar will then pay ground shipping only & will not be responsible for next day air, second day air, or 3 day air charges. Customer will be responsible for all air charges. Lonestar reserves the right to determine if a product is defective or is a warranty. Shipping terms are subject to change without notice.

LONESTAR WARRANTY POLICIES

Warranties vary by part but Lonestar will stand by each and every part that we sell. If you are not completely satisfied with a part contact your sales representative for instructions. All warranties must be shipped in before a replacement will be sent out or we can charge you for replacement part and then do a credit when warranty is received and verified. We know this is an inconvenience but it is necessary so that we can determine what is wrong in order to stop it from happening in the future.

LONESTAR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
International customers may place an order by fax 24 hours a day or you can call in a phone order from 8am to 5pm Central Time. International customers are encouraged to register and place orders online at www.lonestarcaliper.com. We will ship orders by
any shipping company that you desire. International customers pay all freight charges, customs, duties, taxes and any other fees charged on overseas shipments. Lonestar is not responsible for any freight charges and we will ship by any carrier you request.

DELIVERY BY LONESTAR’S OWN TRUCK
Customers that we have established runs to must place a $2,000.00 minimum order for the Lonestar truck to come by. The cost of expenses, fuel, and the truck have caused us to enforce this new policy. This affects all deliveries by Lonestar.
